Modded CP3?

At what point does a modded CP3 become necessary? I have a J/A and plan to upgrade to the hot tune and SB clutch.
What about the FCA? I saw a DIY thread that is supposed to help with the volume of fuel that gets to the CP3. It seems to me the same thing could be done by increasing the pressure from the lift pump (a la FASS). More pressure through the same size hole = more fuel, right?
Besides getting the FASS, do I even need to worry about the CP3? What else can I do besides the hot Juice before I drain the rail?

The FASS 150/200 50PSI will help the CP3 supply more fuel to the rail. With stock injectors, I don't think you will be needing a modded CP3, but add sticks and you will for sure.

Another thing that can help is a Dual Feed line from II. I have one on my 06 and it made a big difference in the amount of fuel available at the injectors.

Would a dual feed line help a truck w/o any other fuel system mods keep rail pressure when running a box or programer?

Dual feed line... Is that just a second line running from the CP3 to the rail? Why not just replace the factory line with a larger one?

A larger line would work well, if you can find one or have one made. A high pressure 3/16 line would work great.

Do you perhaps by chance, have a few pics of that dual feed line and where it goes? Was thinking about having one made and don't know how to plumb it in...

What about stock cp3

So can and should I put the dual feed line on my truck since it has the stock cp3 and injectors?

Industrial injection makes a dual feed line.
expensive. You can put it on your truck.

That dual feed line has been proven on several dyno's to do absolutly nothing.
I have no experience with it but there have been a few threads about it on the site I Moderate for.
Your stock CP3 is good up to about a 90 horse injector...anything bigger and you'll need to be thinking about upgrades.

The only thing I could see the dual feed line helping with is recovery time for rail pressure.
