fuel pressure on my 03
 

i just installed a fuel pressure guage an it jumps from 12 to 14 alot an don't to 10 when i take off an at cruisen speed i think i need a better pump to keep up let me know what ur guys do an what kind of fuel presure u got.

:pca1:Bump, what about that Holley black, think it might be an issue. I haven't known anyone to have much luck with them. I thought they were fer gas.

its for all kinds of fuel the others r only for gas so i dont know:scare2::s:

Can you adjust the pressure on it? I know on some models of the Airdog II you can... :pca1:

you can adjust pressure on the black. you got the plug on the side of the pump. pull it off and there is a spring behind it. stretch that spring put it all back together and check your pressure.

Unless you're running a pair in tandem, I wouldn't trust those Holley or similar knockoff types for anything more than a backup.

stretchd the spring out got me 4 more psi but still gonna go with an airdog2

This is my opinion - I used a FASS 150 on another truck worked well. Original Airdog should be a little better - he owns the patent on 2 air removers - the FASS has one. Plus the Airdog 2 has regulated fuel return - I want a lot of fuel to the pump as it cools and lubricates the pump and the more times your fuel goes through the filters - the better polished it will be. Plus the Original airdogs are at a steal price right now below $500!

you need at least 43 to run it on properly,normally they run around 45-50 pounds,but if you got 43 it will run right,good luck.
