Quadzilla Max Mileage

well i got a max mileage and was going to do a holething on it say how much it really gave but cant do that now till next summer because it started snowing here and got cold right after i put it in :booo:. So now i have to let my truck idle a lot to warm up. but the install was really easy and seems to be a really good product. if it keeps my mileage the same even though i'm warming up the truck a lot then it will be al worth it

ok well been trying to figure out if this thing helpedd milage and i have to say yes. because i went from getting about 16mpg and now i'm at 17 and i'm starting my truck about 20mins before i leave and been running in 4x4 a lot because i have the stock tires on and they dont like to go anywhere on the ice

do you have the block heater cord?
if not they are 30 bucks on genoes and will save you some fuel in the morning to warm it up.

In my conversations with Quadzilla directly, the gains caused by the timing changes are to be seen at highway cruising speeds. In stop and go traffic, the box doesn't do much at all. This is based on what Justin has told me.

I have an edge Ez, and have seen up to 24.5 mpg on the highway crusing at 120 kph.

I am tempted to pick one of these up if they wont void a warrenty and get similar mpg

You know with every aftermarket part, warranty concerns are truly a dealer to dealer issue and would be no greater with a Quad box versus the EZ.
I like the town your from since that is our last name :U:

yah my truck is fully winterized but still needto warm it up for a while to start to get a little warm air coming out. when it get down to the negatives i just like to warm up for awhile so i dont run the risk of anything breaking

GRI 04-07-2008 07:47 AM

now that it is getting warmer any mpg readings yet?

pngmotoman 04-10-2008 12:48 AM
