That is what Everyone says... I would like to hear from someone who had somthing BAD (i.e. broke rear end, Smoked Tranny) and see if the dealer detected it...

Gat a good pic of the truck this week...

Mine has been to the stealership a couple of times, and as far as I know, they don't know it has been there.
Just a heads up for you guys though. One time I changed the version of software in my Smarty without changing the truck back to stock and it ran like CRAP. Took it in and they reflashed my ECM and all has been good since then. Bob says it doesn't matter, but since that happened, I always put it back to stock and have never had another problem with changing software version.
Maybe just coincidence, but something to think about.

I had a friend who had an 05 cummins with a smarty and the same strait pipe setup i have, he told me he went thru 8 trannies in 18 months because he coulndt keep his foot out of it, but he didnt care, the dealer replaced the tranny no questions everytime. guess they figured the truck was a lemon, plus carl's not a guy to say no too lmao!! he sold the truck and bought a 2007 6.7 last yr and hates it. he has said he is going to sell it and get another 5.9 and bomb the crap outta it. but yeah thats my .02 on the smarty as far having sumthing bad break id say that 8 trannies is pretty bad lol!:run:

Lets see some fuel results, surely by now you have learned to keep the foot out of it!! Naa prolly not!! :D

I don't have a CR but the older version with my truck doesn't increase or decrease the economy on stop and go short trips. I can tell you that the computer is totally screwed up with it's display of nearly 50% WRONG!! It says 8.0 L/100km and I see on a good day 14 L/100 km hand calculated.:booo:

Sure I have knobby tires but I think it is the VP44 and the injectors doing it to be honest. The most the truck has ever seen is 1280 km on a tank (130 L) and that was completely stock. I could probably get there again but I am not willing to spend the money of fuel to find out to be honest.:w2:

If anyone has a BD Super B single I'd be interested in knowing what kind of real world EGT decrease you get with aftermarket injectors like the ones I have.:pca1:

No one yet on mileage figures? We would like to know if you have them!

I wonder if I could do some testing.........

I run a lot of interstate mileage. I've got an AFE Stage 2 intake - Mbrp 5" turbo back exhaust, and the smarty on setting 3 and i get usually 25-26 mpg on the interstate going around 65 mph keeping the rpm's around 1800-1900
