just a random question
why do the older cummins (before 2003) sound better??
|
Short answer, they don't. :D
There were a lot of changes from the 12V and 24V to a CR engine that were done for NVH initiatives and emissions compliance. The result is things change, sound just being one of the many. |
pilot injection
|
Diff exhaust manifold setup, difference in injectors and pressures and how many times they fire during the cycles are the major reasons.

i like em all :hellox:

The common rail injection system is a big difference
