all i know is when i got my new rotors from brakeperformance.com i just stuck with the free semi metalics instead of upgrading to the ceramics.
next time i will upgrade. not that the pads dont perform well its just they dust alot ( i commute 60 miles a day) and no matter how many times i try to break them they always sqeak or squeal. very annoying.

I went with stock got them online from a mopar dearler got them for 1/2 as much as the dealer in town was asking went with stock because i got over 65000 miles on stock pads and no squeak or squeal

Squeal can have different sources.
We cut the corner of the brake pad where the disc is running into the pad with a file. But this only helps during "burn-in" time.

You also can try ceramic paste to on the back of the brake pads to supress vibrations causing the squeal.
European manufacturers do also use a very thin rubber pad glued onto the back of the brake pad to prevent that noise.
Hope that brings you some ideas.

Just have in mind that you go either for brake performance or a long life. Brake performance does have a higher breaking resistance and also more wear. Long life does usually go along with standard brake performance.

Maybe a brake disc upgrade is worth to think about it to combine the best of both worlds.

I will go with stock again, I bought aftermarket ones and only got 50,000kms outta them, when I had 140,000kms on my factory equipment

About 3 months ago I put the Wagner Thermoquiet Chromoly pads on and Im very happy with them kinda pricey at about 140 for all 4 but well worth it I think

whatever the stock ones are......109k miles and 50% or more left on the pads. Just wish the frontend was made the same way :w2:

yeah I hear ya I replaced all the u joints, ball bearings and upgraded the steering linkage to the t linkages at 114k and the only reason I went a head and replaced the stock one which still had plenty of meat left was because I had em off already
