DDP VS. INDUSTRIAL INJECTION
Trying to find out what injectors to go with. I have heard of a few motor's melting down when running the DDP's. If any one has a good word to help out that would be great.

I have nothing to offer for one injector over the other however with any shower head its manditory to have an exhaust gas temp gage so you can monitor the ever important vitals to keep from melting anything down.......moral of the story is that big injectors cause heat and lots of it.......add air and monitor temps

I have an EGT gauge, just looking for word on one or the other.

sorry for the rant...................glad to see you have an EGT gauge :U: |
Yeah its ok, I have a EGT, Trans, Boost, and soon NOS guage

i have only hearsay to offer on this. i've heard of some issues with DDP and edge jammers. send a PM to meber waynes world on here and have him tell you his story about DDP.

DDP doesnt have the ability to flow test injectors Industrial injection I believe does.
|
Sure they do. They cant build injectors and send em out without providing the bench specs.
ESITRUCKS: Concerning melt down- if you run larger injectors your pumping a butt load more fuel. More fuel equals more heat and cylinder pressures. We all know what heat and pressure does to an internal combustion engine. If your going to run larger injectors then you need to get a charger that can handle the added fuel to bring the EGT's back down. |
I have 75hp DDP's in mine and have no issues. The shop I used to get my truck done uses them and recommend's them. I did add a turbo though to keep EGT's down. I don't think one is any better then the other until you start talking about marine injectors versus the ones from DDP or Industrial Injection made for vehicle operation. The spray pattern is different between the two.

No experience first hand with either but I know a lot of guys running DDP and they love them. Not one of them have had any problems.
