CB & Antenna Installed (Pics)

I finally got my CB installed in the new truck also a new antenna. I went with the K-40 Super Trucker. I had to get creative with the install on the cb. The dashes in these 3rd gens are too functional.

Looks good! Wish I had a center console to mount a CB to.

looks good man.......I have my antenna installed in the exact same place and I have a hard time keeping the jam nut underneith thight...tough to get a wrench in there to

my CB I made a bracket to mount to the floor so the cb sets right up against the middle consoul seat......works good

On my 02 the dash was so much more functional then this new one!

Hey Whit! Try using one of those funky looking lock warshers that have all the little teeth on them. That should keep it tight.

We use monkey made antenna. the mount was on top of the cab. we had five four inch round magnets attached to a frame that extended just behind the cab. that way we could take it off to go through banks or car washes. Besides...the only part of the antenna that does any good is above the cab.

Looks good bro. I plan on mounting a CB in the same spot in my truck.. The antenna might go in a different spot though.
