where can i find a performance ecm
 

my ecm is fried at 57000 miles and they wont warrenty it so i figured if i got to pay for it why put a stock one back in. does anyone know where i can find a performance ecm?

i don't think anyone makes one for your truck. with all the chips and down loaders they sell. i think your stuck with a stock ecm

The only one that might possibly have an ecm tune is Wait4Me Performance I know that they do Chevy, Ford and Dodge just dont know if they do it for the Diesel motors...

I checked with EFI Live but they only offer tunes for GM vehicles...

And to my knowledge that wait4me uses EFI for there tunes ECMS.. Dont know how makes any sense and I dont know why there are only tunes for GM.. But I tell you what the EFI live on my Dmax is amazing! Better resluts than any hand held out there even PPE!

I dont know if it will interest you but KLM Performance supposedly handheld tune that is untraceable through the ECM...

But there are better handhelds out there!

And what is their excuse for not warrantying your ECM? The ECM is part of the Cummins engine and therefore should be covered by the the 100,000 mile Cummins warranty.

bosch motorsports makes a stand alone controller but at 9600 bucks :argh: it aint worth it
