I need alittle help
hey everybody,
I would like to tweak my 2004.5 dodge to make alittle more power. I has always pulled every load i needed with no problem. But my thing is my old 92' is just abit snappier when it comes to the lower rpms. It seems i have to have the 04 up to 1750 to 2000 rpm for it to really take off. I would like to stay away from programmers if at all possible. I was thinking injectors or injector tips. What do ya'll think? If a programmer is a must to tune the fuel curve then so be it. I have already have a cold air setup and muffler delete. Throw some ideas at me and we'll see what we can come up with. thanks ez |
What your felling is teh Torque managment. Its to keep the tranny alive longer. I think the SMARTY is teh only programmer that will get rid of it. When I turn mine off its hard to keep teh rear tores from spinning even at stock settings for power.

Ya you will be happy with a Smarty

I have had plans to install a pyro, boost, and fuel pressure gauges too. Even with a six speed it has torque management? the reason i have shyed away from programmers because of the warranty thing but my dealer is pretty cool about things like that. and i have heard good things about the undetectability of the smarty by dealer computers.
thanks for the help. ez |
If the dealer wants to find it he will.

i am leaning tward the smarty jr. it says now with power on demand. do you think this is a good way to go? i really don't want to get into CP3 pump problems and i figured that the JR might be the safe way to make some more power without getting too crazy. thats what my 92' is for! hehehe thanks guys

Smarty Jr would work fine for your plans.

I might be looking into a smarty jr as well. Where would be the best (cheapest) place to find one?
