Homemade Boost Fooler Idea

Ok, didnt find this on this site and got the idea from some research on other sites. The basic idea is to fool the ECM to not see any boost over max boost allowed. If that happens the ECM sends an over/rationality boost code P0069 among others. At least thats what i get in my situation. I give this info with a warning I am not a Professional or claim to be on this or any thing related to working on any vehicle so I do not take responsibility for mistakes done or problems associated with this mod. Mod. is a do at your own risk.

Alright, this project is on an 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 QC LB CTD 6spd, I got a OEM map sensor female plug with 6" or so of wiring off a wrecked truck. Using the wiring diagram off the service manual I cut then soldered a 5.1v zener Diode in series on the Boost pressure sensor signal(Light Blue wire on my truck) than soldered a 33ohm 1/4w 5% resistor accross the Boost pressure sensor signal wire to the 5v supply(Pink/Yellow wire on my truck). I believe this allows you to bypass the map sensor thus allowing fooling the ECM. The 33ohm resistor was what I found in my search as the best all around size others tested were 30ohm and 36ohm. I couldnt find a 35ohm that I kept seeing in the info I found.
As I tested setup it does appear to fool the ECM(confirmed this through the Bully Outlook monitor it reads Boost of 6 or 7 psi while key is in run position and engine is dead) but while testing it my truck was throw into limp mode and I slow poked it home. I had got the P0069 and P0236(map sensor too high too long). The trouble is that I had to just stick the wires into the female side of plug and tape it together so it either came lose or shorted out or the Zener Diode is to big need a 3or 4v one. Either way it required me erasing the codes and letting the truck sit over nite with batt. disconnected to reset it. I have been looking for but can't find a male connector to fit the map sensor OEM plug. To allow me to finish this almost free mod only got $3 tied up in it so far. I had to get some resistors rest of it got free. Wonder if any one on here knows were I can get my hands on some I have tried callin some companys that have products that plug/splice into the map sensor but none seem to have any idea were I can get some or its a trade secret of some kind. Also pic's included

Here is the wiring diagram I used.
