Installing Fuel Pressure Gauge ?
 

I need to get a fuel pressure gauge. Where do yall recommend hooking it up? I have a bd aux lift pump so don't I need to go behinds it closer to the stock lift pump? I'm starting to wonder about its health. can yall give me some pointers?

Usually most people put it between the stock filter canister and the CP3 as DM said. This way you can manage filter life. I did not do mine that way. I just got a billett filter lid from Geno's and threaded my sensor into it as I had an electric FP gauge from Autometer. My mechanical Di Pricol is setup the same though in the filter lid. However, since Fleetguard went to the new 7 m filters, they don't fit the same way so you have to notch the filter rim so fuel can get to the line so I don't recommend going that way anymore. Besides, it was way to handy. So the next best way, IMO, is to find a banjo bolt that will replace the fitting coming out of the bottom of the filter canister on the line that feeds the CP3. From there you can run your fuel line to an isolator or straight to a mechanical gauge or to an electric sensor for an electric gauge. BTW, the same fitting can be used at the inlet of the CP3 as well and will accomplish the same thing. Hope this helps.

So i guess there is no way to tap the fuel line behind my aux lift pump. Do I not need to do that where I will be getting a reading for the stock lift pump? Just wondering

Got regular fuel hose connecting it?

If you got regular fuel hose connecting it, find some fitting and T into the suction side. Then on the 3rd leg you can install the isolator or whats required for the gauge.

There is no point measuring the pressure before the pump. Measure it after a lift pump and preferably after a filter. Get around 11 psi on that 2006 and you'll be good.
