the only gauge I have for fuel pressure is what came with the edge...mounted to the filter. I will check fuel pressure next time I have it out but it is doggy from the start in level 6...off by about 1.5-2 seconds in 1/4 mile. I figure it was the stock exhaust... |
That would be the first place I would look. I would bet if you don't have an aftermarket lift pump that in level 6, and even some other levels, you are just running out of fuel delivery.

On level 6 you better have at least 14 psi or you are in trouble with a capital T.

Luke has posted the units that will fix this issue. You will want to monitor FP like a hawk otherwise you are just getting ready to spend more $$ on an injection pump.

I think I'm goinf to buy the air dawg...do you have the 3 micron filters and or replacement filters on your site?

allright...I have the system and am thinking of pulling the bed off to get to the fuel tank...what do you suppose the bed weighs?

thanks, Bob Dropping the tank is much easier IMO. I thought about pulling the bed, but the tank came down very easy and it was 1/2 full which made it a bit more difficult to move around. The 5th wheel hitch was also a big factor in my decision though. :humm: |
