Raptor 150 fuel pump
So after I installed my raptor 150 new hotrod injection pump and 100hp injectors. It sputters a touch. Sometimes. At low idle. Now I never dropped my tank and pulled the old pump cause I didn't have a draw straw here and my truck was broke down and I just needed It to run.
I'm very worried I could starve my new injection pump. Is it a must to pull the inline pump from the tank or can I turn the pressure up on my raptor pump. Until I get my truck home and get the tank off about 1500kilometers. 900 miles or so. ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Looking over my stuff here I noticed I did not instal the overflow valve on my hotrod vp44 Would that make it spudded tho. Thought I would add that ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Ok I changed the overflow easy fix seams better on idle but when I have my foot on the throttle ever so lightly it kinda spudders no when applying hard or foot off completely tho fine then. Maybe throttle possitioning sensor ? I guess what I'm getting at it I really don't want to pull the tank out here in the mud and when I get off its full throttle to try and make the last ferry back onto Vancouver island to see the wife and kids. |
if you are trying to pull fuel thru the in tank pump without it running then that is your problem. what kind of fuel pressure are you seeing on the edge?
