Cold Air Intake

I have a 2001 2500 and wanted to get everyones thoughts on which cold air intake to get. which one is easiest to intstall? best product quality? best filters? best performance results?

For the most part they are all very easy to install, and do the same job. I suggest a dry filter over oiled, and as for brand, whichever one looks good for you. There really is no "best", as everyone has their own opinion of what best is.

Fleetguard BHAF #AH19037 and home-made everything else, then put at least $150 back in your pocket :tu:

BHAF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best one hands down 60$ and does just as good as and better than all the other name brands like k&n and AFe and such...

Bhaf....come on guys get with the times. You can buy a nonoiled washable filter same as a bhaf and use it over and over again. afe prodry s or aem workhorse...

I didn't really care for BHAF I had on my 01 Cummins.

The afe i bought was less than a bhaf..

Yes but... washing filters is a PITA. I figure the convenience of throwing it out is costing me somewhere around a dollar every thousand miles, and that was before I shielded it off from the engine bay. You probably lose that much money down into your seats in that time, and think nothing of sucking it out periodically with the vacuum.
