s366 yes or no?
Heres the specs:
BorgWarner S300-SX3 (aka S366 or S300 91-79) Compressor Housing: 4.00" Ported Anti-Surge inlet with 3.00" charge pipe outlet Inducer: 66mm Exducer: 91.4mm (Extended Tip Technology) Turbine Housing: .91 A/R Twin Scroll Inducer: 73mm Exducer: 80mm I'll be adding an edge comp to the setup in my sig when I do the turbo, as well as some kind of exhaust manifold upgrade, BD 3 piece or ATS, not sure... opinions? ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I'm thinking if ANYTHING my 150's won't fuel hard enough to light that bad boy, but for the time being I'm dead set on a big single setup... maybe throw some 200 or 220 nozzles on my stockers when I can? |
Id run it and yes more fuel will help you get it lit quicker
Does that turbo bolt right up, no mods needed? I'm in the market for new turbo...keeping my options open, I am looking at 62mm turbo from industrial injection
It's a T4 flange so no... but a 66mm would be way too big for you, like I said above I'll change up to 200 nozzles if I need to with it, plus I'm going to aftermarket manifold...
im planning on 150hp nozzles and bigger hot rod vp. would it still be too big?
The hot rod vp isn't an upgrade.... you will get better power out of a SO pump..
so is this a good turbocharger? ive got plans for bigger injectors....throwing an edge comp on there soon. got an fass 95 pump. do they make t3 to t4 flanges??
Stick with a 62
a 66 isn't ideal for a daily driver. Some people do it, but you have to drive truck a lot more by sight to make sure your not just smoking everything out
Even with a Edge Comp and 200's that turbo will be laggy. If you did a cam as well that would help spool up time as well. I have injectors close to a 300hp range and I run a silver 64. A 66 is a hard turbo to run and spool and daily drive on a VP truck IMO
