possible brake upgrade and looking for info on injector nozzels

alright finally got the truck back :jump: talked with lots of ppl on the lucas gear oil in the tranny lucas oil site and several local techs told me that i will be ok ...anyway looking to see how hard it is to convert the one ton dually rear drum brakes to disks ....i dont haul much really dont need a dually at all would rather have a srw....also trying to see if i theres any down fall to buying just injector nozzels instead of full body in the 150-200 hp range....have heard some say no problems at all and others say that my stock bodys wont really flow the rated amount of fuel:humm: appreciate any an all help or critizism:c:

It would be easier to replace the entire axle with one that already has disc brakes, from 2002 or newer trucks.

Nozzles are just fine, as long as you have them pop tested by a diesel shop. I just did nozzles with my 65's, and will with my 150's as well. My local shop charges me $20/injector to replace the nozzle and set pop pressure.

Axles are easier to find with SRW so if you want to go that route find one with disc brakes and get a bed or modify yours and you are all set. the disc brakes came in 2001.5. My Dana 80 hybrid axle has four bolts to change them over if you just want to get the parts. I think the duallys are different though.
