I have a 2000 Dodge 3500 has suncoast, 150hp injectors, 66/71/14 industrial Turbo, fass.I'm running adrenaline right now is edge comp gonna do better?

Diesel Dawgs Performance 12-15-2011 01:31 PM

Adrenaline will fuel harder but the Edge is smoother.

stick with adrenaline, have you downloaded any tunes for it?

svt28640 12-18-2011 08:42 AM

Yea it has the comp update on it.. but just doesent seem to like the quad.. an couple people say u can make more power with comp.. an also had some say tst is way to go.

mysterync 12-18-2011 09:31 AM

I already told you lol.
The vp44 can fuel to the max with the comp. The adr may fuel "harder" but that's just more fuel more quickly. Just look at the droves of folks dropping the adr and go from there.

ive installed alot more adrenalines than comps and several of those were guys getting rid of thier comp boxes. adrenalines seem the most popular.

I ran every brand box out there. The most power came from a drag comp. 836 1500+.
Adrenaline was just like a monster pump. Nothing more than hype. Imo they are junk.

eh even over a drag id still take the adrenaline. they are alot more versatile if the user wants to spend some time on thier website and download diff. tunes. Edge is a pain to deal with, they seem to be making their stuff cheaper internally than the old stuff. Then when you try to work with them on buying a new box because yours went out they give you like 15 bucks towards a new one. The adrenaline sticks are cheap made imo but those guys stand behind them and its easy to get a new one if or when it goes out. Ill just say to each his own, Im suprised no one from the redline box bandwagon has jumped in on this thread. everybody knows how finiky them things are but there are ppl that swear by them. When its all said and done no box programmer or anything else you can pile onto a vp truck is gonna be as good as slappin a p7100 on the side and junking the vp.

I'm running an EJWA CTS most of the time. When I really want to get some power, I put my Comp on. For how well the EJWA and/or Comp suit me, there is no reason for me to stray to any other brand then Edge. From what I have hear, and in my experiences, Edge's customer service is second to none.
I have also hear more stories about how the Quad is picky compared to an Edge. Seems the Edge works on every truck, every time, where as the Quad likes certain trucks.

I have 2 adr boxes...one with the tourq monster tune and one with a fuel economy tune...I had one box burn up and the adr ppl worked with me great to make things right...other then that the adr is great in my opinion
