AirDog150 Users...What Kind Of FP Are You Seeing?

What kind of FP are yall seeing with the AirDog150??? Also are yall seeing a constant/steady FP?

I can't get a steady FP at all. It varies from 12.5 to 19. It just depends on what the pump wants to do that day. Also the FP is not steady. It will build up slowly to 19spi and drop back down to 15 or 12-12.5, but it usually drops to 15.

I posted this on another forum, so some of you may have seen this already.

The guys I know running them stay steady at 16psi. Maybe you are getting air in the lines. Have you called and talked to Charlie about it?

It should run from 16-19. If its fluctuating then there could be an issue with the shim and spring or you have an air leak somewhere. Did you use teflon tape or paste on all the fittings?

SuperDave4x4 01-21-2008 09:15 PM

I used teflon tape on all the fittings and I don't have any leaks on the connections. I'll be calling charlie tomorrow actually.

It's crazy because the first 2 days of having it on the truck I saw a constant 21psi and would only drop about 3 psi during a short WOT run.

Sounds like your return regulator spring may be weak or sticking. Charlie will take care of ya.

not sure which air dog I have but the pressure is between 24 and 20psi no logical reason when it is higher or lower that I can reason. I have both digital and mechanicl gauge. digital reads 20 to 17 psi never lower.
