Airdog 100gph and a Hot Rod vp?

Will an AD 100gph lift pump be able to adequately fuel a hot rod?

all ive heard about those hot rod pumps is they are junk. everything ive heard is the so pumps are the best and any of those "hot" pumps are crap and definately dont like being tapped from a chip.

stick with a stock vp it's driver friendly. but the 100 will keep up with anything you can do on a vp truck.

The AD 100 with work fine.

Agreed. Stock VP's work the best. AD100 is more than enough for a daily driver. :c:

So much bad talk about HR pumps, why? They are pricey but I don't regret buying mine.

never really hear any advantage to buying a hrvp compared to a sovp...and always hear the sovps run better on a dd and last longer...

the problem is they can't bench the hrvp pumps proper so the idle is not perfect they electronics seem not to last as long, and they can be picky at times when they want to work or not

I can see where these could be true... Mines yet to see winter but I get a feeling the hard start issue they have will come to light, it already chugs like hell at startup if I go a day without running it. There is also a wierd area I never had before inbetween the time you let off the throttle and it drops to idle (say pulling up to a stoplight) it just chugs hard as hell at 800 RPMs or so, but then drops to idle with no RPM change. But with no chip the power differance was pretty big, I must say.
