Sorry to hijack your post but I'm in the same situation exept no gauges or hypertech. I'm just looking for that little extra power and some fuel mileage. I know intake and exhaust but would 40hp injectors and an edge ez be mildly beneficial or just go with juice w attitude and add injectors later? The only pulling I do is maybe 1 or 2 times a month dragging about 5000-6000lbs of tractor + trailer around.

get the juice first so you have gauges. drive it like that then tap the pump wire later and once you get used to that add a small set of injectors you will gain mpg as long as the skinny pedal isn't abused

doing an ez and small injectors would cost you as much as the juice w/attitude and you wouldnt get the benifit of the guages

you could do a juice w/attitude or you can add 100hp injectors and do boost/pyro guages for the same money as a juice w/attitude and not have to tap the pump wire

personaly i like the way injectors drive vs electronics because they follow the stock fuel curve so they just seem smoother but thats just me

btw edge does sell the CS monitor as a stand-a-lone called an Ensite and costs about the same as regular guages

its a HO truck, of any electronic HP gain claimed, you will see about 50% of it.

injectors are great for a HO truck!

quality mechanical gauges are more reliable then any electronic monitor, but to each his own. I stare at digital meters all day, the sweep of the gauge is much easier to quickly look at then a digital readout.

01Quad cab, Congrats, I have a 1 month old girl now. its a handful...
