you want a good programmer that adds fuel and timing get a comp box and the whole pump tap killing the injection pump is a crock if you have fuel pressure your fine. 80k on mine with 500+hp still going strong.

If you already have gauges, I vote for the Edge Comp. Very simple, yet very powerful. Most of the story's about IP's going bad after being tapped are when it isn't done right. Poor lift pump, bad connections, or it done to an already weak VP44.

Thanks again for the suggestions! Can I assume from stock the Comp Box provides 120hp and the Hypertech-100hp injectors combo is worth 160hp? Of course I'm looking for the most benefit for my efforts here.

i'm gonna say that stack is somewhere around 170 hp or so... i think a good set of injectors and the comp alone will do better though..
i dont have any proven numbers... just experience..

To be more specific, will 100hp injectors add 100hp to whatever mods I've already done?

Thank you again! Is the Comp Box worth a true 120hp over stock? Also, I checked with Edge and they aren't stackable with Hypertech. Both control timing.

zach the injectors can add 100hp to your current setup depending on supporting mods, possibly slightly more from the compounding effect so yes hypertec + 100hp injectors = 140-170hp vs 120hp from a comp box alone

and dont get me wrong guys i've ran both the comp and juice boxes with and without the hot level on my personal trucks with no problems but the fact is that even with a "stelth cover" that tapped pump wires equal void pump warrentys
