need a idea on a chip
 

i have a 99 cummins 5 speed that is stock other that a ats exhaust manifold, and a 5in stack. i was wondering what the best chip would be to put on my truck that would not have me changing the clutch in a week. any ideas

go with either an edge comp or juice w/attitude or a smarty. the quadzilla adrinaline also works well.

thats good news to me because i just bought a quadzilla adrenaline. i was going to go with the comp but wasn't very sure about it.

i get it put on Wednesday. hopefully i can give you some good news on it tho.

Keep the quad low until you get a fuel pressure and at least a pyrometer gauge hooked up. Boost is good too. If your making less than 10 psi fuel idling and while cruising you need to upgrade the fuel system before you get crazy with it so you don't toast your ip. Gauges are a must before adding fuel, same with an upgraded fuel system.

thanks for the heads up on the gauges. i bought the pulse monitor with it so i should be safe on that part.

In my opinion, its the best damn box on the market for our trucks.

well if i don't like the adrenaline ill end up getting the comp because ever since i ordered the adrenaline iv'e only herd good news on the comp
