raptor or should i go bigger?
i was wondering would a raptor 150 be good for my application or should i go with a fass or air dog i don't have alot of mods but am looking into getting some 75hp injectors and want a good fuel system behind them and will I need a draw straw or not?

please fill out yer signature so we know what all yer truck has done to it
go to user CP and click sig |
with a fass and air dog both you dont have to use a draw straw it comes with the hookup to use the factory pick up and it will draw enough through that to support about 400hp. i would spend the extra for the air dog the fuel mileage and run quality is worth it.

the factory draw straw will support all the hp you need. I made 683 through it with my fass 150. I would go with a fass or airdog for added filtration.

o ok thanks guys
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- i believe i got my sig. fixed |
Yep, Sig looks good!
I personally have the "go big or go home" and "do it right the first time". When I needed a lift pump, I chose one that I would never have to upgrade if I took my mods further and further. I went with the FASS Heavy Duty 150. If I were to do it again, I would go with the AirDog2 165, a little smaller and has an adjustable regulator. |
I don't think the size really matters on the fuel pump my fass 95 made 600hp and constant 15psi only reason I upgraded was because my dad needed a fass for the 99 he bought so I had him order the 150 and just swapped him. I like fass because the support events all over and our sport. in my area I have yet to see anything like that from airdog

i'm not wanting to spend a ton of money on this so i was wondering is a raptor sufficient enough for my application? If someone had a used fass or airdog i'd be on that in a heart beat, and if I had to do a fass or airdog which one would be best for mine?

Raptor 150 is very sufficient
|
ok, will it be ok even when I upgrade to 75hp sticks and an edge comp or juicer?
