Quadzilla Adrenaline! HOLY CRAP YES!!!

got my Adrenaline last week. HOLY CRAP what a difference!! throttle response is great. and on
PL6-10, tons of power and smoke! :rocking: feels a little jumpy and poppy when u romp the throttle but it sounds and feels like it should. a im very happy with it. easy install and love the change on the fly. sounds extremely mean at 3500rpm, its a completely different monster!!:jump:

i have a 5spd and airdog lift pump,(65hp BD injectors not in yet) aftermarket clutch. so if u have a stock clutch on a high PL it might slip a little, and i would recommend a lift pump. but i am EXTREMLY happy with it. i needed to get 1 wire connector from my auto parts store but other than that easy install! highly recommend it! :rocking:

Wait til you do some tinkering with the settings. You can get that tuned in better:c: Have to love the of ability to set your own parameters on the Adrenaline:choochoo:

kegs99 01-11-2011 12:22 AM

thats what i have great chip. play with the tunes. i'm running adr2-3000 for dd. can't run in ten because my clutch slips bad so i run in 8 and do fine when i wanna blow doors off a ricer. i need to get a clutch. did you get the pulse v2? it also lets you do some custom tuning that is nice. what clutch do you have?

dodge rodder 01-11-2011 11:08 AM

i love the quad. adr. tunable and fun you will be super happy. just be sure to get all your fuel ,and needed upgrades first. have fun :tu:

1999 CTD 01-11-2011 03:04 PM

yeah i have every fuel mod that i need so i dont kill the truck. i dont have the v2.

KEGS99. i dont know what clutch i have. when i bought the truck some guy was the only owner and used it to pull campers down the highway. so he had an upgraded clutch put in when it needed to be changed right b4 i bought the truck. so i dont know the brand i have but it doesnt slip at all!! try.. Diesel performance accessories for Dodge Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, Chevy Duramax they have really good prices and fast shipping! let me know how u make out. :)

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

so i cant figure out how to upload the tunes!:argh: when i click download it takes me through the steps but my computer keeps making sounds like its disconnecting and connecting again! and when i plug it in to my computer nothing happens other than a connect/disconnect sound! do i have to have it pluged into my truck and the computer at the same time? :argh:

Jazz 01-11-2011 04:02 PM

No just your computer :humm:Sounds like it's not recognizing the new hardware through your usb
Did you look at your device manager on your computer? I bet it says it has a issue?

dodge rodder 01-12-2011 08:19 AM

what i have found to do is set it up the best u can, it then run the tune and plug it in right when it says looking for module. thats how i do it. if u have windows vista or xp it will work, but if u have the new windows 7 it wont work

1999 CTD 01-12-2011 03:47 PM

ok BIG help!!!! i have the new windows 7 on my:jump::rocking::choochoo::scare2::humm::tu: computer and thats what i tried it on! i will try a different computer

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

can i put tunes from a beta on mine? on the box it says 1000.:humm: if not whats a good tune with smoke and good power? :moon:

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

dodge rodder 01-12-2011 04:02 PM

Rooster24v 01-12-2011 09:25 PM

if it has the 1000 tune on it, wait till you slap a Beta ADR2_COMP tune on it.. my truck came alive after that!! :choochoo:

1999 CTD 01-13-2011 04:27 PM

does she smoke alot with the beta? thx 4 your help guys HUGE help!!!

Jazz 01-16-2011 03:47 PM

Did you get your Downloads to work?

xjrev10 01-19-2011 08:13 PM

Another Adren owner here

How many tunes can you "save" on the unit? Or can you just download one at a time? Havent got to the downloading parts yet. Waiting till spring.

Jazz 01-20-2011 06:59 AM

You can save 3 tunes at a time, Stock and settings 1 & 2:tu:

xjrev10 01-20-2011 02:35 PM

okay cool thanks.

DieselWeasel 01-20-2011 07:32 PM

I love my ADR too. BE careful if you run the 3000 series tunes if your head is NOT studded! It makes too much boost on the stock turbo! The drive pressure is EPIC! It stretched my head bolts and popped my gasket! Cost me a ton of money but she is studded and has orings now!
Save the pain, stud before you get addicted to stage 10!!!

1999 CTD 01-22-2011 08:52 PM

JAZZ, i never did get them to download!!:argh: but i have a buddy thats more computer savy so im going to let him take a look at it! but i dont have a studded head, can i still use the BETA tunes? i wanted the 2nd to last BETA tune.:humm:

Did you ever call Quadzilla? If you do ask for Jeremy and I'm sure he will have you fixed in no time at all. tu: 888-842-6572 or 817-306-2444

As far as can you use the BETA tunes without a studded head, sure I have been. You have to remember when you start modding these trucks you are bound to find your weakest links though

DieselWeasel 01-23-2011 12:59 PM

Im sure you already checked BUT just in case... Did you make sure you have the .NET Framework on the computer your trying to use??
My other computer did NOT come with it. However my NetBook that i have now has .NET 4 on it.

I am having problems with my truck after my rebuild and am going to reload my tunes to 1000 series and start from their!

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Just put my 1000 tunes back it to troubleshoot... So, yeah, you HAVE to "run as administrator" or the files will NOT load! Plus i had a ton of problems with it connecting... It kept connecting and disconnecting and on and on. I don't know if its because my USBs don't supply constant power? But i found that STARTING the updater FIRST then connecting the USB cable a few seconds later worked!!

joe6 01-23-2011 01:28 PM

You can build the torque tune just by custom tuning and save it. And you can save more than one tune. thats what I do.. Have an all out tune and then a daily driver tune. Its easier than plugging it in and downloading a new tune everytime.
