Leveling kit
What size leveling kit do i need to level my 2wd 3500 out so it doesnt have such a slope as they come from the factory? What brands would you recommend?

I just ordered a dayton 1 1/2" kit for my 98 2wd dually.I will let you know how it turns out after i get and install them.I do know that if you go over 2 " you will need to get shocks but that would be a lift kit.

Daystar that is.:tttt:
i did a daystar 2" and i couldnt get the SOB to get in, was a realy pain in the a**. So i just lowered the rear to level it out
I finally got the kit and installed them.Took all day because i didnt have some certan wrenches but it wasnt too bad.Made a lot of differance. No slope.
Do you have some before and after pics? and the kit you got was the coil spring spacer kind correct?
i built my own leveling blocks for my 4x4 when i replaced the axle but if i had to do it again i would get some carrier springs and bilstien shocks thats the best way imo but leveling block work all right mine have lasted but i always over do stuff i bet u could drive a tank on the blocks i built with no prob anyway just my opinion on leveling kits good luck:c:

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- don't see the 5100's but they do have the yellow and blue ones. Not sure how much better those are compared to a rancho or something like that. |
but changing the shocks alone wont level the truck out will it
No it will not.The spacers i used sit on top of the coil spring.I will try to get some pics. There is a youtube link on install of daystar kit.Get on youtube and type in daystar leveling kit for dodge 3500 in search column.
