Quadzilla Trans Temp

Hey fellas, on my Quadzilla Adrenaline with PCM my trans gauge normally reads about 100 to 140 degrees. Today it was sitting at an idle after driving hard for 10 minutes and it was bouncing between 200 and 210 degrees. Any thoughts on this and what temp should it normally be running? I chased the sensor wire from the Quad box down to the tranny and it is not contacting anything to make a false reading.

My tranny is stock and i have never seen over 150 except for when i was doing a really big burn out and it got to 200 :rocking: but other than that it may be a short in the box or the sensor.

if your not locking the converter up when driving like driving slow around town it will heat up. Seems like a normal temp on a stock setup.

I was watching it today and it is jumping all over the place. 110 to 250 down to 100 then back to 230...maybe the sensor, it's only a few months old :humm:

How fast is it jumping around? A second here then a second there, or a smooth climb and decline over a few minutes or more?

oh no, it's instant. 110 to 230 NOW. Then back down, then it'll hover around 200. It will do this from a cold start @ 18 degrees outside.

It sounds like something is loose, but if it all checks out it may be in the fueling box. You could try disconnection the sensor and watching the display again.
