turbo numbers on ht60

i put this turbo on my truck and later took it off so i could rebuild it now im trying to figure out if it is worth rebuilding... While on the truck as twins it made like 7lbs of boost which confused me i stripped it down to pieces and found it to be in good condition minus a leaking oil seal on the intake side.. i found out it has a 23cm housing is this a good size housing for a set of twins? how much should it build boost wise? anybody know how much a rebuild kit it?

DIY rebuild should run $50-100. are you sure its not a 32cm housing? a 23 is a tight housing you should see way more than 7psi from it w/100s and juice. the combo w/superb should make 60psi easy.
FYI- the ht3B and newer version HT60 dont like to make over 30psi and often blow oil past the comp seal. Be sure you have an adequate drain line for the ht60, dont try to tie it into the hx35 drain or use less than 5/8" ID line or it will not flow enough and back-up into the turbo and past the seal.

ok that makes alot of sense yea it has 23 stamped on the outside and on the inside of the exhaust flange ... i took the turbo off and dropped it back to a single. because i smelled oil so i dropped the tubes off and the big turbo was spittin oil into the intake.... thank you very much for the help, i really appreciate it.. so i am putting enough fuel to spool them right? and this would be a good set of twins to right? i wanna make sure b4 i tear my truck apart again.

HT60 is a more modern ht3b and flows more but still has the thrust bearing and oil seal issues the 3b had.

You should have over 400hp in fuel. the superb can handle it by itself but is near the limit. When twinned with the HT60, you should have PLENTY of air to go to 600hp. At 400 you have enough fuel to run the twins but not enough to have to watch the pyro or worry too much about over-boost.

Just remember to adjust the gate for the twins to keep peak boost below 45psi so the stock head gasket will stay sealed.:c:
