No, I'm still here from time to time. I stopped working with Mark on this a few months back, last I heard was that it was ready to go. I haven't talked to Mark since early October, I got tired of asking updates, I'll stop by and see what if anything I can find out. All I know is that I love the one in my truck, screw it, I'll get some pics for you all this afternoon too.

Default powermax 3 box remote not working

hi guys, hope some one can help.....
i resently got an 01 cummins 5 spd 4by, its got all the bells and whistles i think a guy could put on it. not sure i would have done all the work but its there so i may as well know how to use it,, so heres my questions.. the truck is an 01 4x4, 5spd. its got a 4 inch exh, powermax 3, southbend clutch, exhaust brake, dpp lift pump, k7n cold air kit, and a whole host of othre things i cant remember. Its got 300,000 kms on it, it is a block 53 , but trying to find the 5spd in british columbia is like looking through a hay stackk for a needle.
the truck honks real good without question or hesitation..
Im trying to figure out my powermax 3 so i can get to the cooldown setting.. ive gone to the tst site and read through the instructions but cant seem to find what i need.. Not sure what remote it is but it has egt's, boost and gauge, 0-9 settings , .. I press the grey button between the 2 arrows and it goes to the high egt settings, when i press the grey button again it flashes back to current readings of egts, sometimes quickly flashing "save" and then back to currrent temp.. Im begginning to wonder if maybye the buttons are buggered or im just stupid..
Thanx guys any help would be great

whats the serial number on your Powermax 3? Some of the older ones didn't come with it.

Hey Dukeboy, I have a 2001 really stock if you take the adr and the j-hook off. you still looking for a test truck i am currently @ 47501 zip. and hae another truck I can drive while you and "mark" do the testing.

not sure where the number is,, has velcro covering bottom of remote and top of box.. where would i look?

found the # its a powermax 3 sn#10233 or 10238, kinda worn the number on the remote is45e57268... thanx for any info....have you ever heard of the buttons wearing out?

Yeah, I'll run the numbers by mark, I'm thinking that is an older box and may not have all the bells and whistles. I know some of the early boxes had weaker buttons, at least from reports. Keep in mind, some of these PM3 boxes and controls have been out on the street since late 99-early 2000, a friend of mine just bought 1 off ebay for 200 bucks, ran the serial numbers, it was a 2003 box, so they've been out for a long long time. Stuff is bound to wear out eventually. If yours is worn out, you may give TST a call, see what they say. Probably be quicker than me. I get kind of forgetfull

I talked to Mark, testing is complete now. If your around the 47274 area, shoot me a pm, perhaps I can work something out, no promises though

Been a few months any new news on a release? I am located in northern Indiana and would like to check out this.Pm5 if it doesn't release I'm just going to.go with something else
