Nitrous

I just recieved a nitros kit for free. A friend of mine has had it for years and never used it. It is brand new in the box. Its for a gas motor, but I called Holly/Nos and talked to them and with buying 3 things I can put it on my 01. I have an 01 with edge juice/attitude with level 6, 100hp sticks, Fass 150, K&N cold air, 5'' straight pipe. My question is-I have read were cylinder pressure will rise and possibly blow a head gasket. If I run my edge to keep my boost under 50psi wont that keep the pressure at a safe one? I do not have head studs and I am still on the stock gasket. I am going to try and play it safe with the nitros and keep it down a jet size. basically instead of running a 100hp jet i'll run like a 50 or 75. I know that Hp jet size dosent matter on a diesel because it is in relation to how much extra fuel you have. Has any one been running Nitros for a while? If so what kinda problems are you having. I'm not talking about the guys pushing 1000HP just people who might take their truck to the track a couple times or pull at a fair a couple times a year. The only reason I want to put it on was it was free and I will probably on use it very little.

from my very small amount of knowledge on nitrous. 50lbs of boost plus practically any amount of nitrous will take your head off ha but I really dont know much about nitrous. Someone will chime in with a good answer

Nitrous jacks cylinder pressures way up. I wouldn't run it unless my head was fire ringed and had 625 ARPs. JMO
