FASS 150 troubles

I've got a FASS 150 system on my 99'. When I turn the key to on, I have to wait 5-10 seconds for the pump to kick on. When I turn it over to roll windows up or etc. It will kick on when I shut the key to off. I seems like its on a 25sec reset or something. Pump seems to run fine when the truck is running but I'm starving my already burnt VP44. Any help is appreciated.:nope:

Might be more of a PCM/ECU issue. If you can, hook a mulitmeter up to the pump wires and watch them as you turn the key on. I know mine only runs for about half a second when the key is on, then not again until the engine is running. Very odd that it runs with the key off.

I'm also still sometimes having the hard starting issues. Would that somehow also be related to the ECU? I know a guy who had the same starting issues and replaced the pump and did not clear out until he bought a new ECU. Also unrelated, Tranny tries to lock when 45MPH and up but bounces in and out until I manually lock it with a switch. Could this also be related with that?
Thanks

Sounds more like a PCM issue then, as it controls the Transmission. If you have a faulty APPS, it will cause the TC to lock and unlock at that speed. You can try this for the locking and unlocking issue:
Sun Coast 24 Valve APPS Rewire Instruction Download
Also, try adjusting and resetting your APPS.

Thanks for the link, I'll have to try that, because the symptoms sound exactly as my problems

Now for the starting issues and the fuel pump...Would that still possibly be the ECU controlling both?
