Oil breather canister
Thinking about ordering one from jegs and hooking the breather on the front of the engine and the one on my oil cap. Ive seen this pvc breather write up, but in all honesty i dont want pvc plastic under my hood.
So who has one? I want something like this http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/700/710/710-85500.jpg |
Why don't you just extend the hose straight down at the ground? I just added a foot and a half to mine. It gets a little grime on the front axle but its not bad.

I am doing this on mine this week. that way I can keep my oil and add it back to the engine.

Really? It's not really that much, and I think it's pretty much junk oil once it's in a canister. My opinion, that's all.

Post pics when you get it installed. Thinking the same myself.

didn't get the chance today had to work on the house. well, with all the abuse my truck has been taking over the past couple years the blow by is getting a little worse so it's more than just a little oil. it makes a mess. I am pretty sure it's all just taken it's tole on the rings and when this year is over after the world finals it's getting pulled and turned back to stock. Dang smog tests in CA

Ya ill get one soon i dont know where im going to mount it just yet????

i have that same set up.. i mounted mine in front of the left front fender well by the bumper brace. it gave me easy access for draining it. i ran braided steel line from the breather into a fitting on the canister. must say the set up worked great :tu:
