Sad 80 HP Injectors

I have a 2001 quad cab 4x4 with 5" exhaust cold air intake, and i have superchips programmer and high preformance lift pump. I had 80 HP injectors installed by local mechanic and had no differance in power. Do I nees to get v44 pump reflashed or what do I need to do to get performance out of these injectors. I have been told it was just a waste of money. All they did was treat it like a car install the injectors and test drive it and hand me a bill. I don't think they know much about performance diesel trucks I live in Palm Coast close to Bunnell where they are suppose to have some very powerful dodge pulling trucks but cannot find anyone to answer my questions or to work on my truck.

You should have felt big difference are you sure that they even changed the nozzles? You don't need to re flashed, thats only if you have a problem with the pump.

they gave me the old injectors. I had them install new 80 HP nozzles first but there was no differance in power. I thought maybe old injectors were holding me back so I bought new injectors thinking that would be better but still had no more power.

I have been told pump will still only supply same amount of fuel as with old injectors so i will not see any improvement in power until fuel is turned up.

The pump will only supply the same amount of fuel even if you put 150hp injectors on a stock vp44 but you will still gain about 150hp... Its because now the orifices are now bigger, letting for fuel be pushed through them even though the same amount of fuel is coming from the pump. Does the truck blow black smoke with the 80s? And what brand are they?
