Air Dog 150 Install Pics

I took some pics of my installation of my Air Dog 150. I kept the captions at easy to under stand. I thought these were the important parts of the install. Hope this helps some of you. Enjoy:c:

I see you added an elbow to tie in your fuel pressure gauge... My truck had one from prior owner and my mechanical line isnt long enough to reach anywhere else... However AirDog provides a port FOR fuel pressure. Its on the pump housing itself... Why didnt you run the sending unit there?

Nice pics, thanks for taking the time to post them.

I am savinv that port for the dummy indicator light. Have to order it from air dog.

DieselWeasel 03-13-2010 09:37 AM

Just curious, why use the light if you have the gauge? Just as a emergency backup?
I planed on using it for the fuel pressure gauge on my Adrenaline w/ pulse... Then I can take advantage of its alarm features.

Yes.... its a big helper if your gauge quits working. If your filter or God forbid the Air Dog quits working, the light will come on. Usually the filter is plugged and will need changed. This is an indicator that you should not be unning your truck, I learned that lesson last year.

Did it take your Injection Pump out?

cummins602 03-13-2010 03:06 PM

Yes it did... Thank God... somehow I was still under warranty... and I saw the final bill for it and everything was $2300

DIRTYMAX2004 03-13-2010 03:25 PM

how long did it take you to install it? also how much is dummy indicator light?

cummins602 03-14-2010 09:52 AM

It took about 5 hours. Indicator lights are bout 60 bucks.

just curious, I have my fuel pressure gauge screwed over my schrader valve but I am putting on an airdog and I got the 90 degree like you have. What I dont have is whatever that is that went into your 90 degree fitting. All I have is the braided line going to a needle valve into the sending unit. What do I need to get to go into the 90 degree fitting?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I see now that is a sending unit that goes into the 90 degree fitting?? My Sending unit is different. I have electric glow shift.

90° elbow fitting

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a part number or where I could get that flared 90°elbow that connects to the fuel hose and injector pump. If anyone has any info please let me no which direction to go. Thanks
