i was wondering if i should hook my pyrometer befor or after the turbo?? where is the best spot. i know after the turbo it will be coolers then pre

put it pre-turbo. and i like to use the rear runner into turbo as well. the rear three cylinders run a touch hotter than front three cylinders.

yea, in that neighborhood should be fine, pick a conveinent spot to get drill in, taps, wrenches etc.
you for sure want in that combined runner leading up to turbo.

drill and tap it with the truck running so the shavings get blown out if your doing while its on the truck

Or, stuff a rag in there and have a vacuum handy to clean everything up when you're done. Just don't forget to pull the rag out, leave a little hanging out.
That manifold gets hot pretty quick when it's running!

yea, it'll spit the hot chips right in your face, i personally took it off. better for my peice of mind.
