how much power?
i live in florida and i cant seem to find a dyno that will let me pull on it
so hears what i have done. southbend dual disc, smarty stacked with edge juice with atitude, airdog,s&b intake, super B special turbo,ATS manifold, 150 h.p BD sticks, banks 3 1/2 intake ram, banks intake heater delete, 5 inch turbo back into 8 inch singlestack. any guess's on h.p and tourqe? |
My guess would be around 500hp and 1100ft.lbs, if you find a dyno post up your numbers I would like to see what your putting down
|
closer to 550-575 and 1150-1250 and for sure post up your numbers if you get a chance to dyno :tu:
|
i went to a dyno with my friend who has a mustang thats prob around 650-700 h.p
but for some reason they wouldnt let me stap on to it. the guy said i have to much tourqe :argh: im gonna try agian next weekend at a trans shop. im hopeing to be 500+ :c: |
515-525 but if you dyno try smarty and then without the smarty I would put money your smarty is hurting the power.

ive ran it with just the smarty or just the edge. it seems the smartys very powerful at lowend and the edge seems to be all top end. my injectors reelie made a huge differnce. for about a week i was riding aroud with stock ones and it reelie made me think i had made the wrong choice on a turbo. but now with those 150's that turbo screams, im still running stock head studs :argh: i give my headgasket a week. next is. hot rod vp44,cam,valve springs and port and polish. maybe some propane. trying to get 700 h.p outta the motor:jump::jump:
|
Stick with a standard output vp44 from what Ive read they seem to make more power than the hotrod version just my .02 though

700 on a vp you have some high goals. I hit 603 with my setup.
|
Just start fogging in everything you can think of, you'll hit 700HP. Longevity, that's a different story.:w2:
|
yea i know 700 is a high number. id be happy with 600 with no help from nitrous or propane.
the truck is not my daily driver anymore. thats why im trying to make high h.p now. the truck has 41000 miles on it. any tips on makeing 600+ h.p? (with no go go juice) :tu: |
