How good is the hypertech programmers for the cummins do they make very much power or smoke how much horsepower rating are they and torque? Thank You?

I saw your post but was not sure of the vehicle listed.
We cover the 1998-1/2 5.9l diesel 24 valve but not the 1998 and earlier 12 valve with the mechanical injection pump.
If you have the 24 valve version your part number would be:
Max Energy 52008
Stage 3: +49HP +137TQ
Stage 2: +41HP +114TQ
Stage 1: +30HP +89TQ

i had the hypertech hyperpac on my 02 when i first got it. its not bad it gave me a huge diff in mileage but power it was a lil on the low side stack it with a power puck and itl throw some smoke:tu:

did you trust the overhead monitor if so it was waaaay off trust me.

10-4 to that **Never trust the "Average Gage" ** do the math instead ** regardless of the tuning used.
