Never seens any nozzles from BD. Ive only seen full injectors.

On a stock turbo your goin run pretty hot but if you keep the smarty and juice on a lower setting you should be alright. Your just gonna have to drive by your egts till you can get the new turbo. Just my .02

DEFFINETLY!! with my turbo and my chip on level 3 i can hit 1200 degrees in no time.. just be easy on it, dont blow your head off, and enjoy the smoke show! :choochoo:

you will want to make sure that whoever puts the tips on that they pop test them to make sure theyre all about the same.. other wise it will run really rough.

01quadcab 01-25-2010 10:41 AM

when you get these leave your box off, or your going to melt something. 110's and a stock turbo get hot quick.

LawnScum 01-25-2010 05:21 PM

thanks for the info. right now with my setup. i cant even hit 1200. so i know il be up there. i dont wanna run my egts over 1400.
any sugestions on a turbo?:tu:

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

will it be alot more smoke with these? i know itl be alot. but if its to much a new turbo and maybe some propane should help clean it up rite??:humm:

Diesel Dawgs Performance 01-25-2010 07:38 PM

Ya these injectors will really smoke. From the write up on them they are no more than the Old Edge Jammers. With the right setup they will make good power but there just a dirty injector.

$250 for nozzles? I just paid $350 for a new set of 7x.012 injectors.:humm:

Smokem 01-26-2010 09:27 AM

Come on Jamie, you know what you got for $350. Next time ask Jon how much just the nozzles are, when he says $300-350, you'll understand how much time he puts into them.

cummins 734 where did you get your injectors and how many horse are them

You are everywhere Weston. I'm not trying to start another pissing war with you bud. Have a nice day.

We check everything we recieve, as well as the countless injectors he's checked for other people. And there is a common edm man involved in this problem.
It's not just me, you may get lucky though. Did you keep the Mach 5's?

I bought the 7x.012's for a different truck. I'm not touching these M5's for nothing.

That's too bad, could end up with something nice.

You are gonna float away one day. If I didn't have 2 kids to feed & empty bank account, I'd buy a set of your injectors just to see what they are all about.

Smokem 01-26-2010 10:57 PM

I was talking about working over your Mach 5's, you must have missed that part.

The way this thing idles & runs, I'm not touching these M5's. For the record, a set of your injectors were at the last dyno day I attended, straight out of Morgantown. :w2:

Smokem 01-27-2010 08:46 AM

It's a pretty good offer, who had a set of mine in Morgantown?

Kevin Barr in his 12v Fummins. He had the best 12v numbers of the day. The truck does run very smooth & he seems to be very happy with the injectors. Maybe one day.:c:

Smokem 01-28-2010 05:39 PM

That is who I assumed it was, I've talked to him about changing them, I think it's time.

I got a set of Mach 4.5's I would let you work over. Looking for something a little bigger. I also got a set of BD 130's could you do anything with them?

For the OP I ran the BD 130's on a stock hx35 and egts were manageable but it would definitely get warm if you tried.
