If you want the sound of a jake, just ket a giant pop can and stuff it between the tire and the fender. You know.....Like we did when we were kids riding bikes. Or just yell the sound out the window:humm:

If you really want a jake brake swap in a 8.3L cummins :humm: out of a medium duty truck. They all have jake brakes. :rocking:

it's been my understanding that the aftermarket was specifically asked by the manufacturers of light duty diesel vehicles and their engines to NOT develop or market compression release brakes for light duty vehicles.

go look at one and take a tape measure with you, then go look under your hood, then look up the weight of a 5.9 vs. an 8.3, that's what I did and stuck with a b series.
