Who's Got The Best Deals On Walbro's

Ok, I'm ready to order my parts for the new fuel system and find out the vendor I was planning to order through, http://www.wideopendiesel.com/ isn't sellin the Walbro anymore. So now I'm back up for suggestions on suppliers.

Dennis I think the walbros are dieing off because of the low sulfur fuel

Now that's gonna suck, that was the cheapest most dependable route. I can't afford the FASS and I need to rebuild my system.

PM me what parts you need and I'll see what I can do.

Pump was all I am looking for, already have all the big lines, regulators and everything else on the truck. Now I gotta see what this USLD and Walbro are all about now though. Is this the case that the Walbro pumps are not workin with the new fuel.

I haven't heard anything about this! My Walbro setup has been running flawlessly and I've been running ULSD for months. Can you clarify?

I have no Firm Proof Other than the Failure rates have Shot up with the new fuel , Must be the lack of lubrication Running a fuel additive should help ,

Maybe give glacier Diesel A Call and just ask them They seemed to be the largest supplier of them

Just for piece of mind ya know

Call Glacier they are great to deal with. I put a Glacier kit on my truck last december and am loving it. I have had no problems with ULSD fuel and the Walbro, although I do run 2 stroke oil as a lubricant in the fuel for the VP44. I have over 40,000 miles on my truck since I did the walbro and have had ZERO problems with it.

Richard @ Glacier is great to deal with and very helpful. I have not heard anything about Walbro's having problems with ULSD but I haven't been monitoring the boards as much in the last few months as I have. My personal experience though is

8 months/40,000+ miles/ 2stroke oil = no problems

Bubba...check e-bay for the Walbro pumps. Last time I looked they were around $110 or so...
