just lookin on the downloads for the add and saw the torque tune anybody runnin this, does it replace the #10 tune or how does it work

I'm run this tune. It's a whole new tune PL 1-10. Rolls some nice smoke but it breaks up bad over 2600 RPM's

It a balls to the wall tune. Its the most aggressive tune currently available for the Adrenaline. Most not all trucks will have surge when running this tune.

could i run this tune with my trans its all stock sept the transgo shift kit and and billit torq converter cover

I ran it w/ a stock trans. However that might explain why I lost 2nd. gear :w2::humm::ouch::argh: Should work good though when i get the 6 speed in. :jump:

oh well then i guess i wont run that

Id stick to the 2000 or 3000 tunes with a stock trans.

Ok guy's I have the QUAD/ADR w/o pulse. All I have to do is connect the QUAD box up to my laptop via USB and download the Torque tune then reinstall box into truck and PL1-10 will be there? Sorry if it's a dumb question but hey, that's me!:hellox:

I did earlyer today after i got my quad hooked up and just to rev it up in the drive and it smoked like a freight train I was to scared to go down the street lol dont have money for new trans

Nah if I dowloaded that tune it would just be for show after I install my 6" stacks. But to drive it like that?, Not this guy. Virginia Beach PD is already A-holes enough. But I'm gonna download it just for sh*t's and giggles. Not to be blacking out an intersection.

yea thats a waste but i enjoy some smoke every once in awhile in the right place that is it amuses me smoke is one reason i became a fire fighter i like how it moves and rollls but maybe thats my ADHA and ADD lol

Yep I like me some smoke. I just love diesel's in general. I was raised around trucking and my dad still drives. I just like seeing the coal roll and it brings back good memories. But this tune will be strictly for show, and not a whole lotta go.

You guys that have the pulse can adjust the TQ tune so it will be streetable, in it current form on the site it is really agressive mainly for the guys who dont have the pulse, now i run it in mine, and have it set for 5 levels and it rocks! If you dont know how to set it, DM put up a thread a while ago explaining what each adjustment does i. the custom tuning on the pulse, if i remember i will look at mine to see where i have mine set.

I run the torque tune for everyday driving. I have even pulled trailers with it. I just keep it turned down a little lower. I was never able to run this tune this smoothly until I adjusted the apps voltage:tu: This tune really rocks turned up:tu: I also seem to get my best mileage on this tune if I just drive it normal. Easier said then done:w2:

God i cant wait to be able to afford a new trans this blows not being able to us the quad to its full potintial

Man that just really makes me want to buy the Pulse now. If you say you can run the TQ tune for every day driving just by tweaking it through the Pulse I think I need to invest in one. But when I get off the ship tomorrow I am going to go home and download it directly.:rocking:

Carefull this tune on pl10 (and every thing else in my sig 0 broke my input shaft like nothing when i did a lock-up boost launch. Spinnin tires through 1st gear second gear and lock-up...tink. broken shaft. But damn is it fun.:ouch:

Very good point:tu: I have a fully built tranny, and I still wonder sometimes. It is really hard to believe the torque. Today just under normal acceleration turning onto to the highway with light rain and on setting 5 my dually started to spin and I wasn't on it at all. It's getting about that time of year to take out the torque tune! It's a real pain in snow? I end up going the wrong direction all the time:scare2:

And people still say the Comp can run circles around the Adrenaline :humm:

Had the comp too. Also had the tst pm3 and smarty. I've had the ez stacked with pm3 and smarty. The comp stacked with smarty. You name a combo I have probably tried it and can say I will take the Adrenaline over any of them:tu::c:

Yes it is a super pain in the rain. I forgot I kept it on pl10 way too many times in the rain:scare2:. But now i'm real good at brodies(drifting). And I would recomed not using the adr. at all in the winter. Or keep it on pl02.:humm:

well tell me guys what tune and what PL setting do you guys get the best milege how much more will the max milage tun get me i had a hypertec max energy and it put me up in the 20 and 21 mpg range what are you gues seeing

I actually just got my best about 2 weeks ago running torque tune setting 3. I try to run about three tanks on each different setting just to see where my mileage is. My driving is pretty much the same all week long. (City Hwy pulling)

I think duals even make it worse. If I'm on wet grass I couldn't pull the hat off your head. I would really love to find a single 3.54 rear for my truck

Where can I download tunes at? Just got my quad adrv2 and I'm looking for different tunes to try, I like what has been said about the torque tune how do I download it?

i have some stacks coming and I’m looking for a smokey tune can you help me out?

The best option is the V2 tune with custom tuning.


If you want smoke get really big injectors, and unplug the map sensor.--- or stick a plastic bag over your intake....
