Edge Juice /attitude or Quadzilla/Pulse?
Ok I am putting an air dog 150 system on wuth whatever mod I decide to do. Just want to know which would be better for my current setup? Not factoring in cost. I am going to purchase the fuel sending unit with the quadzilla if I go with that one, I understand the edge comes with it. Which is a better setup? Most important to me is the longevity/safety of my truck, and of course performance. Also which is more user friendly, reliable etc.. thanks guys!

What kind of dyno numbers you see with your setup running the Adrenaline?

With a good tune, the adr might make more power than the edge with a good setup geared around the ADR. But is the Quad more powerful than the Drag comp on high HP trucks....from everything I've seen no way!

Im also not sure if the adrenaline can compete with the drag comps. Most high hp vp trucks ive seen are running the drag comp
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I wish sometimes that I could plug and play, but then I remember a real truck has to make hp by tuning and creative thinking:U: |

i am yet to dyno the new setup. i will be stuck at 500hp right now because of the stupid HOvp. i did 435hp with jammer4s, hx35, and water/meth with -20 washer fluid. does anyone have a SOvp44 that they will donate to me??????:c:

Adrenaline hands down!!!!!!!!:choochoo:

the edge is easy to use the adr had or still has issues. So it really is up the user. I have an Adr for sale. Any takers

LOL Submariners? What about the Airdales? Don't we get any love?:c:
|
the adrenaline I loved on my 99 but you only get half the experience without the pulse
without the pulse you lose out on the custom tuning to get the best performance for your truck |
ran it, hated it, made less power the juice with my setup. personally, i reccomend the TST power max 3, im running a verison of it right now as we wait for the new PM4 to be finished so we can continue testing it.

My buddy and I run almost the same setup but he has the Quad and I have the Edge. He has more power but I see better milage.

when i first got the adrenaline, wasnt impressed, after i downloaded the 2000 tunes i beat my friend with basicly the same setup with an edge juice/attitude, when i downloaded the comp tune, it kept up with a drag comp equiped truck, i really like the versatility of the adrenaline.

I have had the Edge Juice w/ Att. Hot and now the ADR w/ Pulse. When you lay both kits out; module, wiring harnes, instructions, and displays it is obvious that the ADR is put together much better. The only thing that semi bothers me is that the buttons on the ADR display, they are just different and have a learning curve. As for the power the ADR is definatly a strong running box, on your 1000-2000 tunes I think throttle response is better mid range is the same but top end the ADR screams performance. On your custom tunes the ball game is over the ADR out performs in every aspect.

For those new to these trucks the whole debate about which programmer to use can be a little confusing. I think if one is really better than the other, there should be some attribute that can be pin pointed and used as a reason why that one is better than the other- but I see very little of that every time I do a search... honestly I think a lot of folks buy one or the other on impulse. How many do you see popping up for sale? When you read the for sale post, a lot of people are just switching from one to the other.

If you want something to set it and forget it get the Edge
If you want to be able to change things around a mess with custom tuning get the Adrenaline. |
:tu:quad/pulse is nice
|
Stop the childs play get a SMARTY!! OR the HOT/DRAG COMP!!
|
While the smartys only good for say 65 RWHP on a VP truck, It does make driving much more fun and big chargers light MUCH better!

I wouldnt go as far to say youll never be happy... as soon as you get it installed and test drive it, youll be happy. its just kind of fun to play with it and try different things. I highly doubt youll ever be not happy
