AD 150 install

Do I have to remove stock lift pump from the fuel tank when installing Air Dog:pca1:

Dr. Evil 10-02-2009 07:24 PM

No - but you will need one of the DrawStraw products:

http://www.vulcanperformance.com/category-s/220.htm

...or an upgraded tank module.

dmac 10-09-2009 08:30 PM

still looking for advice on fuel module mod when in stalling AD

Dr. Evil 10-10-2009 12:45 AM

I think just about everyone uses the draw straw method. The high flow fuel module is relatively new, IIRC. But supposed to help with the 1/4 tank issues that many are plagued with.

dmac 10-10-2009 07:45 AM

if you want to run with the factory fuel heater, you can do the following, take your factory filter and using a hack saw, cut off the filter element about a 1/4 inch from the seal, make sure the gasket is good and bolt it back in, then run you fuel line that comes from your airdog into the filter assembly and youll be good, we did this to a truck a while back, works great theres a similar write up around here some where.

Sounds like a leak in the system if your pressure dropped that much.

mysterync 10-23-2009 02:03 PM

dmac 11-29-2009 05:38 PM
