well i gust got an edge juice whith additude for my 01 ctd it also has the hot unlock program but i have no instalmend diagram an it did not come whith the egt probe can i hook it up for now whith out the probe? and how about instructions eny help would be great thanks

You need to call edge tomorrow and tell them the serial number on the box , it looks like 2001 and 2002 are different than 98.5-2000

Ask them How much the probe is , I dont have mine hooked up on my quadzilla because i already have a pyro gauge and the box works fine

It's not required for the unit to work , How ever it is recomended to prevent excessive EGT's. With a factory truck you should have an issue there. You'll need to make sure your EGT's on the attitude are below the defuel or max egt setting. If you purchased the product new, and it was still wrapped in plastic Edge will get you out one in the morning! They've always been good about getting our customers fixed up within 2 days!

thanks do you happen to no if the boxes are the same set up from the 1998.5 to 2001??or is there something im missing??

Each of the boxes comes with the adapters for your year model truck. You should have a part number 30101
98.5-2000 Part # 30100
2001-2002 Part # 30101

Many think because the MAP and Datalink adapters are available they will work from truck to truck. In some cases they will but it's never a good idea to switch year models. It can cause signifigant problems and your Edge will not have warranty coverage if you mention your year model. Secondly, The map adapter was for the Edge EZ. It was designed when a better quality MAP sensor was designed for the Chrysler Corporation and the old map sensor part number was superceded. The adapter was only for use when the truck had the new updated map sensor with the Older model edge products NOT TO SWITCH FROM YEAR TO YEAR!

well i talked to my brother this is the numbers off the box edj 3500/a/b ver 5.0 30001 1998.5-2002 date of manuf 1/19/2007 he also said you may be able to help me whith some parts i need boost elbo for turbo boost bolt for head egt probe i have no idea what you may supply sorry but im new to all of this computer stuff thanks :ok1:
