3/4"

You can get some oil rated hose for much longer life. I just ran mine straight down.

Make sure it is oil rated if you are going to do any more than run it straight down for a road draft tube. The standard rubber heater hose will break down from the oil residue, and leak.

It either removes the puke bottle or you can relocate it. Over time the puke bottle will fill up and eventually spill out when going up or down a certain degree incline/decline. Also with the puke bottle in the original location, it sometimes causes a heavy oil smell coming into the cab.

When I redid mine, I no longer have that oil smell and my radiator stays clean as well. Check out mopar1973man's site, he has some very useful info.

Ever notice under your hood the oily crap that is over everything below the fan and toward the bottow/end of the motor and tranny? That comes from the oil vent bottle. The gunk can clog up your radiator and cause it to not cool the tranny/engine as well. Extending the tube to a new location will stop it from gunking up the motor/radiator/ anything else it spills on. The hose to the ground will leave oil drips every once in a while on your garage/driveway, but you can leave a pad down to collect that, instead of all over your engine.
