flame thrower stacks AGAIN dont let this thread die
 

hey guys tryin to figure out where to buy the stuff needed to make some propane stacks i guess. every thread i look at addressing this i cant seem to find any info i need on making it. anyone out there that has a setup i would love to see how you did it and what you used. such as a jet? regulator to how much psi, Spark?

Just pick out the one you want. Yo just have to install a small fuel cell to supply fuel from since diesel doesn't exactly give the desired results.

I am thinking that, (with stacks) you hooked up two propane injectors (like off a grill) just beyond the split in the T-pipe, then spark plugs just before the stack itself, That would work halfway nice. You might need to insert a small beather tab to draw some air into the mix, kinda like on the exhaust tips on the new fords. Seems like that would work. I would LOVE to experiment, but my truck is on the other side of the world.

Obviously you would have to ensure that there were no leaks in the propane fittings and run an ignition coil for the spark plugs and on top of that. Not to mention that if you left the spark plug in there for any amount of time you would probably have to clean the thing off from all the soot that would build up. Not sure how that would work in the diesel exhaust pipe, but worked fine in my jeep.

The down side? You can't say that real trucks don't have spark plugs anymore:tttt:

one other thread that was on here said something about a 12v propane regulator to regulate the propane going into the stack...i would love to get this done for my truck it would be bad as hell...

yeah i'm kinda sceptical of those kits you buy bubba. hence also i run such a dirty tune ya it would be like my plugs are in a two stroke it would get all fouled up lol. how would you inject the propane? with a nitrous solenoid and use a fuel pressure regulator like a holley

i put them on my truck last year, they were cool but i never used them so i took them off. i had it installed in my stacks. i just used a normal gas grill regulator from a bbq propain tank. i routed the regulator into 2 brak lines that went into my stack. about 3 inchesabove the break lines i added 2 champion sparkplugs with a 12v coil and wire it to a toggle switch. its a simple way to do it but like i said i never used it so i took it off
