hx 50

Is a HX50 to much turbo? Can i pull in the the lower street class with one? Will my motor push it okay?

Well , In short ...No

You'll have spool issues, shaft issues and bearing issues in the charger. It probably wont already light. If you do some searches and you'll find it's not very commonly mentioned or used in this application. There's plenty of reasons for that. If the big guy's wont use this charger, free or not why should you?
I'm not really familiar with the map and compressor sizes on a 50, I'll do some research and let you know if 1. it will bolt up 2. if you could ever spool it!

So it would class in one of the pulling classes I'm guessing but it wouldnt be much of a daily driver!

Tough question for anyone to answer when you dont provide a list of mods done to your truck.

What turbo would be recommended for pulling in work stock class and daily driving?:c:

It's not a very advanced charger. Most of your hx-50's on 5.9L's have a updated wheel and custom housings!

If you're using it for a pulling truck, you'll probably have to run in a modified or unlimited class, and you will be grossly under powered. There are a lot of guys running those classes with big twins. That run a bigger top charger than that hx50.

For street towing twins, a lot of guys will also say its a bad combo. Personally I run an hx35/H2e combo which is pretty similar, and I happen to be very happy with it. I also run a large housing on the H2e and have externally gated the hx35 pretty well for better exhaust flow. My set up spools quick, tows well, and I can't break 1050-1100* with my box cranked all the way up and I'm only running 50psi boost. So I feel that I have room to accommodate more fuel. With the box turned down to 1x5 I can't break 850*. My experience has been that its not as bad as everyone tried to lead me to believe.
