can someone with experience on bombing a 99 cummins tell me what my estimated hp,tq is
please. I'm not sure what it is but it will only run an 16.8 on the floor, (boost fooler, big head wast gate actuator, Quadzilla XZT+ (2000 tune), triple disk sun coast tq converter, bd lift pump, 4" exhaust).:humm:

I made 316/716 with the Adrenaline 2000 Tune and a 4" Exhaust.

not sure what you plus your truck wiegh but im gonna say maybe, 250-300 at the rearwheels with that number. heres a link you can also play with. i took you plus the truck at wieghing 6800 lbs, thats what my friends purple 98.5 4x4 24 valve shortbed wieghed without anyone in it. using that calculator, it shows 283 hp. also, whered you get your ET time from, a track or on the street

I took it to Ardmore raceway 1/4 mile track in southern Oklahoma. I might add that i was
running a stock transmission & TQ converter at the time and power puck. I now have a triple disk suncoast converter and the quadzilla zxt+. Thanks for your info, it is much appreciated

i haven't ran it yet with the new stuff on it, but i'm thinking it's not much faster. The
injectors a turbo upgrades should fix that problem.

01quadcab 06-01-2009 11:05 PM

what turbo and injectors? My truck with edge juice went 15.06 and made 319. now with my mods I run 12.92 at 103. dyno this sat

dodge rodder 06-02-2009 10:02 AM

I'M not sure yet. i have just started in looking into injectors and turbo. i dont want any thing super powerful but i still want power. (budget build, one part at a time) What would you prefer to be the best for daily driving some playing. :rocking:

01quadcab 06-02-2009 10:42 AM

I like my setup, but would go with a lil smaller exhaust housing on the turbo. The thing tows well egt's stay down. yesterday pulling the 30' gooseneck home with 2 horses etc up our 10% grade never went over 1100. I wasn't driving and think they would have been better if she would of built some boost. But never have a problem with heat. You could even go with a 58mm turbo it's a good size upgrade from stock. Just depends on the budget.

dodge rodder 06-02-2009 12:49 PM

i still have a stock turbo but i was thinking about the compressor wheel and housing. For
the injectors i was thinking about the stage 3 Edge jammers or would it be better to go with the all new injectors.

biged681985 06-02-2009 12:54 PM

with 280 at the wheels in my truck on a load dyno, i ran a 16.5 saturday night, doing a 4wd slight boosted launch

01quadcab 06-02-2009 11:47 PM

go with a full injector and stay away from jammers everyone I know that has run them hates them

dodge rodder 06-03-2009 07:44 PM

what would you guys recommend for injectors. Would do yall think about on the turbo compressor wheel & housing upgrades good or stay away. :argh:

01quadcab 06-03-2009 11:54 PM

I like ddp they cost more than most but they work well. A lot of guys on here love the fireball pros. I don't know much about the compressor wheel and housing upgrades. I heard they don't handle abuse very well. I really like the s300 it's pretty dang tough

dodge rodder 06-04-2009 12:08 PM

thanks, don't know witch way i will go with this yet, but i am going to do some thing before to long

tearin_it_up_everywhere 06-06-2009 06:52 PM

I am kinda wondering what i would get?

dodge rodder 06-06-2009 09:21 PM

im thinking some 40 hp fireball injectors will be enough for me for now.

We have all said that!

Might want to look at the next size up. In the FireBallPro line, we got much better mileage out of the slightly larger sticks.

01quadcab 06-07-2009 02:35 AM

go big to start as I have bought 3 sets of injectors so far. I just picked up some 200's for when I get a bottom turbo. heck of a deal on 2k miles of ddp's

dodge rodder 06-08-2009 10:35 AM

I'm not looking for to much more power because i pull a s-10 drag truck (looking for a 4bt Cummins to put in it) and the transmission is still stock. The tq converter is not stock tho.
And yes, I know more power is all ways better. :up2:
