airdog 150

Both have Lifetime Warranty as long as you pay MAP Price :U:

Even thought the AirDog is cheaper, we probably sell more FASS units about 2 to 1 I would say.
I have my preference between models for the installs and the bracketry both use, but in the shop we use our own stuff anyway. Dave |

I have the AirDog 150, I love it, great performance and upped the MPG by 2-3 depending on the right foot. I was just wanting the added safety with a lift pump, the mpg increase was a plus.

fass 150 have it and love it

Airdog=father FASS=son, whichever you'd rather support i guess, basically the same design, Airdog is cheaper to run i believe filters are a bit cheaper and what not but it's all a matter of preferance

How hard is it to install that Mitusa Mechanical pump?

Simple install. The pulley bolts to the balancer and the pump just goes on the bottom of the oil pan, hook up the fuel regulator to send excess fuel back to the tank and put the belt on and it's movin fuel.

It uses some longer bolts that you put in after you pull a couple of em out of the pan. Just pull the old ones out and replace them with the longer ones provided.

Honestly the install for theses mechanical pumps couldn't be any easier. No having to figure out where and how to mount it, NO WIRING, I hate wiring. It's a simple bolt it on and drive away. Oh and to purge air from the lines, that can be a pain but you have to do this anytime you break open a fuel line.
No electric motor to burn out, no fuses to blow, no brushes to change or nothin. Worse thing that can happen is that you break a belt and if you carry a spare belt it takes 5 minutes roadside with no tools to change. I'm over 100,000 on my pump and the belt isn't even showing any signs of wear. |
well just wanted to let everyone know who was giving me input on which pump to go with i went with the AIR DOGG 150 WITH FILTERS the price was right and from what i see on here alot of people have them and i havent seen or heard of any body having problems and just want to give a special thats toDIESEL DAWGS for hooking me up with a great price. thanks again everyone:pals:

I have to say I had no issue purging the lines when I installed my Airdog system. I just let some fuel run at the VP fuel line connection and cranked the engine a couple times and I was off running. I never had to break any other lines.
|
Can I run the airdog 150 on a stock truck till I add bombs or should I go with a 100? Or add than pump?
|
150 will be fine
|
Yup go with the 150 for sure.

150 and never look back :c:
