Im going to be installing my Adrenaline soon, i currently have a edge comp on my truck. when i unhook my comp should i rehook my truck back to stock for a little while or can i just unhook the comp and hook the adrenaline up?

Have to get that Air dog before the hammer drops! :w2: :)

I hope your comp didn't kill your vp. but best idea is to get the air dog on.

Switch them all the time. I always keep a ez around in case a box fails. They sure don't run good with no box and aftermarket injectors. If I'm traveling I keep the ez in the glove box. You never know.
I starting to thing I need to keep a extra vp and the tools to put in on in the truck too!

well, i did have a VP puke on my 2 years ago, Since then i have the BD lift pump kit, comes with another LP (good for about 380-400 HP according to BD) but now im getting an Air Dog so i'll have 0 issues with fuel pressure now!

01quadcab 02-22-2009 12:04 PM

and you have a fuel pressure gauge right?

agreed...some people say that you dont really need a fp gauge once you get a lift pump unit....that's wrong...i had some nasty corrosion on my terminals/batteries and it was f'ing up my ground...my air dog actually wasnt working and there really wasnt much way of telling besides my fp gauge being pegged at the bottom...as for your question, hook up that adr and just keep it on the low settings...untill you get that air dog...then have fun doing your part for the environment

...have fun doing your part for the environment... LMAO.. good one!!

I do have a low pressure LED on near my gauges, if it drops below 5 psi light comes on, so when i start the truck while the wait to start light is on so is the LED so i know its working.. I have looked at a FP gauge by ISSPRO but the way i read it you have to run fuel to the gauge which runs inside the truck, i have also heard that it is Illeagel to run fuel into the cab by any means.. maybe i am wrong?? also i never run WOT for more than 7-8 sec.
